    19.12.2023 | Euroopan jäsenmaat, parlamentti ja komissio ovat päässeet alustavaan sopuun asetuksesta unionin suuntaviivoiksi Euroopan laajuisen liikenneverkon (TEN-T) kehittämiseksi. Asetuksessa määritellään Euroopan laajuinen TEN-T-verkko ja säädetään muun muassa sen väyliä ja solmukohtia koskevista laatuvaatimuksista. Yhteisymmärrykseen päästiin kolmikantaneuvotteluissa 18.12.2023.

Asetus velvoittaisi viranomaiset kaikissa EU-maissa hyväksymään kaikkien liikennemuotojen osalta sähköiset kuljetusdokumentit rajat ylittävässä liikenteessä. Yrityksiä ei kuitenkaan velvoitettaisi toimittamaan tietoja sähköisessä muodossa. Tärkeää on myös se, että ehdotuksessa on huomioitu henkilötietojen ja liikesalaisuuksien suoja ja tietoturva.
