28.5.2025 | On 28 May 2025, the Finnish Government submitted a Union communication to Parliament regarding the European Commission’s proposal for the so-called Roadworthiness Package. In principle, the Government supports the proposal’s aim to promote road safety and reduce the negative environmental impacts of transport.

5.11.2018 | Kommunikationsministeriet har publicerat en nationell moped- och motorcykelstrategi med en vision om mopedernas och motorcyklarnas ställning i transportsystemet 2030 och åtgärder för att uppnå visionen. Målet är att det i Finland 2030 ska finnas utmärkta förutsättningar för moped- och motorcykeltrafik både som hobby och som färdsätt.

5.5.2022 | On 5 May 2022, the Government submitted to Parliament its proposal for amending the Driving Licence Act. The aim of the proposal is to improve the road safety of young drivers.
