27.6.2018 | Euroopan komissio ehdottaa asetusta sähköisistä kuljetustiedoista (COM (2018) 279). Asetus velvoittaisi viranomaiset kaikissa EU-maissa hyväksymään kaikkien liikennemuotojen osalta sähköiset kuljetusdokumentit rajat ylittävässä liikenteessä. Yrityksiä ei kuitenkaan velvoitettaisi toimittamaan tietoja sähköisessä muodossa. Tärkeää on myös se, että ehdotuksessa on huomioitu henkilötietojen ja liikesalaisuuksien suoja ja tietoturva.

28.8.2023 | A COVID-19 legislation ex post evaluation, prepared jointly by the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom, has been released. The report examines the temporary legislation put in place in 2020–2021 in the administrative branch of the Ministry of Transport and Communications in consequence of COVID 19. It also looks at the drafting of this legislation.

6.9.2021 | The Government is adopting a single email suffix in stages during the remainder of 2021. Once the harmonisation process is complete, the email addresses of all staff members at the ministries will end in ‘gov.fi’. The Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of the Environment will adopt the new suffix on 6 September 2021.
