With the health and social services reform, the requirements assigned to municipalities under the current Act will transfer to the wellbeing services counties, which are about to start operating on 1 January 2023. This makes it easier to compare insurance companies and their offers. The obligation to submit vehicle registration data is transferred to insurance companies. Insurance companies are obliged to submit the notification using the electronic service of the Finnish Transport Safety Agency (Trafi).
