Ehdotuksen mukaan Suomi ottaisi käyttöön väliaikaista joustoa muun muassa ajokorttien ja tavara- ja linja-autoliikenteen todistusten ja lupien voimassaoloon.   5. 20.5.2025 | The Ministerial Committee on Economic Policy decided on 20 May 2025 to fully finance flight connections between six regional airports and Helsinki up to 27 February 2028. Air connections to the city of Savonlinna, however, will be funded out of government funds up to 50 per cent only. The decision is based on the spring 2026 government discussion on spending limits.

  14. 25.3.2020 | On 25 March 2020, the Government decided to restrict traffic between the Region of Uusimaa and other regions as of 27 March. The restrictions will be in force until 19 April 2020. The purpose of the new restrictions is to prevent coronavirus infections and to slow the spread of the epidemic from Uusimaa to other parts of Finland. On 25 March, the Government submitted to Parliament a decree concerning the use of powers under the Emergency Powers Act relating to the restrictions on movement.

  19. 9.6.2020 | The Ministry of Transport and Communications has granted an extension to the working group examining how to turn the steps taken during the coronavirus crisis into a permanent digital leap forward. The extension was granted until 30 September 2020. During the extension period, the task of the group is to complete the report and draw up an action plan for digitalisation projects to be implemented after the epidemic.
