Minister Berner to International Transport Forum Summit in Leipzig

Minister of Transport and Communications Anne Berner will take part in the International Transport Forum Summit that will be held in Leipzig, Germany, on 23-24 May 2018. The ministerial meeting will be organised in connection with a high-level conference on transport safety and security.

Currently, the International Transport Forum has 59 member countries.  The Forum is part of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, OECD.

Minister Berner will speak on Thursday at an open ministerial session on resilience of the transport systems and in a panel discussion on innovation for safe and secure transport.

The meeting will adopt a Ministerial Declaration relating to promotion of transport safety and security by policy measures and Declarations on the international transport licence system.
