The ministerial working group on reforming society has determined the principles for promoting official digital transactions over the present government term.

It is proposed that the regulation on the maximum price for the so-called chaining of initial identification data be continued by a fixed period of two years.The current regulation remains in force for two years. In future, the maximum price for the initial identification would be three cents.

7.12.2022 | The EU's telecommunications ministers convened in Brussels on 6 December 2022. Finland was represented by State Secretary Pilvi Torsti. The meeting dealt with various proposals for regulations promoting digitalisation and its use.

23.6.2022 | In its meeting, the Ministerial Working Group on Developing the Digital Transformation, the Data Economy and Public Administration approved the main elements of the legislative proposals concerning a digital identification application and the redesign of the personal identity code.
