13.11.2025 | The Government proposes that the President of the Republic approve amendments to the Act on Transport Services on 14 November 2025. These legislative amendments give municipalities and joint municipal and other regional authorities the option to arrange passenger rail services in their respective areas. 28.3.2023 | The EU Member States, the European Parliament and the European Commission have reached a provisional agreement on the so-called AFIR Regulation, which aims to promote the deployment of alternative fuels infrastructure in road, waterborne and air transport. The agreement was reached in trilogue negotiations on 28 March 2023.
