The Ministry of Transport and Communications aims to ensure that the services on the LVM.fi and Impulssilvm.fi sites are available according to the Act on the Provision of Digital Services (306/2019).

This accessibility statement concerns the LVM.fi and Impulssilvm.fi services.

1. Accessibility of the LVM.fi site

The LVM.fi website complies in part with the AA level of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 criteria. Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations is mentioned below.

The following content is not accessible, because as a result of a disproportionate burden it is subject to the exemption laid down in Article 5 of the EU Directive 2016/2102.

The website includes PDF documents that have been published on or after 23 September 2020 and are not in all parts accessible. The non-compliances will be addressed once the tools and document management processes provided to the ministries by the Government Administration Department start producing accessible documents.

The following content is not accessible according to the Act on the Provision of Digital Services (306/2019).

The following deficiencies were detected in the website (the requirement that has not been complied with is in brackets):

  • The listing of links to the Impulssi blog posts according to years is not consistently marked across the pages (3.2.4)
  • There are shortcomings in the language and the language definitions of parts of several pages (3.1.2), including
    • Search results in foreign languages
    • Texts of foreign language articles

The service includes podcasts published before 23 September 2020 that are not in all parts accessible. According to law, the podcasts published before 23 September 2020 do not have to be made accessible retrospectively.

The service users may request for a content in a format that is accessible to them. They have the right to receive support and advice on the use of the LVM.fi and Impulssilvm.fi services at the email address [email protected].

The statement is based on an assessment by an external expert organisation (Efficode Oy) on whether the website complies with the requirements of the Act on the Provision of Digital Services.
