Transport Services Act entered into force on 1 July
Most parts of the Transport Services Act entered into force on 1 July 2018. The Act brings together the legal provisions on transport markets, with the aim to offer better transport services to users and have more freedom of choice on the market.
It also promotes digitalisation of transport services and more efficient use of data.
Opening the data has a key role in the reform as it also enables to offer new kinds of travel chains composed of different modes of transport to consumers.
The legislation concerning taxi services changes as well. But what does all this mean for travellers and what are the consumers' rights?
