Minister of Transport and Communications Anne Berner will attend the EU TEN-T Days in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on 26-27 April 2018. She will meet several ministers from EU Member States and speak at a plenary session on innovative financing for transport.
Among the issues to be discussed at the meetings will be the suggestion by Finland and Sweden to expand the TEN-T transport network with the so-called Bothnian Corridor, which would consist of a railway route between Helsinki and Tornio in Finland and Stockholm and Haparanda in Sweden.
TEN-T Days are an annual event organised by the European Commission with the aim of generating discussion on how to contribute to sustainable and safe mobility, relying on the trans-European transport network and investments in transport connectivity.
