20.9.2023 | The Government has agreed on the 2024 budget proposal and the second supplementary budget proposal for 2023. The Government agreed to make rapid progress on transport investments. The Government also decided to continue support for regional air services.

6.3.2025 | The Government submitted a legislative proposal relating to micromobility to Parliament on 6 March 2025. The aim of the proposal is to improve the safety of electric scooters and other micromobility vehicles.

28.3.2018 | The Government has issued a resolution on the digitalisation of freight transport data. The aim of the resolution is to boost the digitalisation of the logistics sector and promote new business opportunities. It also paves the way for Finland as a hub for international transport and supports emission reduction targets in the transport sector. The resolution is part of the Government key project on building a growth environment for digital businesses.
