The European Commission’s annual Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI) monitors the digital performance of EU Member States and tracks their progress in digitalisation. In the current call for proposals, a total of EUR 277 million will be allocated for the purpose. Support is now available for 5G projects that improve the digital services on transport routes or develop the local public services, for example.

The impact assessments are used in the preparation of a roadmap for fossil-free transport and in the related knowledge-based decision-making.
