27.6.2025 | The President of the Republic approved the legislative amendments on aviation on 27 June 2025. The amendments aim to improve aviation safety and security. The Acts will enter into force on 1 September 2025.

12.11.2024 | The Ministry of Transport and Communications requests comments on a draft government proposal for amending legislative amendments to improve aviation safety. Provisions on the permission to set up obstacles to air navigation under the Aviation Act would also be amended at the same time. The deadline for submitting comments is 31 December 2024.

24.3.2022 | In its resolution on Transport Safety Strategy, the Government outlines measures that aim at improving transport safety and preventing traffic accidents. The resolution was adopted on 24 March 2022. The purpose of the Strategy is to raise the overall level of transport safety on land, in water and in the air.

21.12.2021 | On 21 December 2021, the Ministry of Transport and Communications invited comments on draft government resolution on Transport Safety Strategy. "We are searching for ways to improve the situation in broad-based cooperation. 8.6.2021 | A Transport Safety Strategy prepared by the Ministry of Transport and Communications has been circulated for comments. The strategy was prepared in broad-based cross-administrative cooperation with stakeholders. It sets out effective means for improving transport safety and preventing traffic accidents in all modes of transport.
