Finland and Russia discussed frequency issues in Helsinki

The Finnish-Russian working group on frequency management has discussed the details of making the 800 MHz frequency band available for broadband use. The working group met on 9 December in Helsinki.

The Finnish delegation was led by Director-General Mr Juhapekka Ristola, and the Russian delegation was led by Mr Juri Zhuravel from the Russian Ministry of Communications and Mass Media.

The delegations also included representatives of telecommunications companies from both countries.
