Congratulations Finland!

Independent Finland celebrates its hundredth birthday on 6 December. Then each and every Finn has the privilege to celebrate their birthday. The centenary of independence has been Finland's big year, thanks to the hard work of Finns and friends of Finland. The Finnish Government and its ministries want to pass on their sincere thanks and gratitude to all who have taken part in building Finland's centenary. During this special year, the Independence Day celebrations start already on Independence Day Eve, and one can take part in many different ways. To take part in celebrating the 100-year-old Finland, serve coffee; fly the Finnish flag; and illuminate with blue and white colours at home.
