Ms Susanna Huovinen, Finland’s Minister of Transport and Communications, has sent a letter to Mr Wolfgang Tiefensee, German Minister of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs, conveying her condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the train crash that killed several people in north-western Germany today.
”We are deeply saddened and shocked by the news and want to express our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims”, Ms Huovinen says in her letter that she sent to Mr Tiefensee as President of the Council of European Union Transport Ministers.
