28.10.2020 | The German Presidency of the Council of the European Union will hold an informal video meeting of transport ministers on 29 October 2020. State Secretary Pilvi Torsti will represent Finland at the meeting.

21.10.2021 | On 21 October 2021, the Government submitted to Parliament a legislative proposal for amending the Act on Broadband Construction Aid. The most significant amendment is that in the future, aid could only be granted for constructing fixed connections. At the same time, the name of the act would be changed from the current Act on Broadband Construction Aid to Act on Fixed Broadband Construction Aid.

2.11.2017 | The Ministry of Transport and Communications has received a significant recognition award for its achievements in promoting advanced transport policy and legislation. The ITS Hall of Fame award was presented to the Ministry in the ITS World Congress 2017 in Montreal on 2 November.

These include tablets, headphones, headphones with microphones and handheld videogame consoles. The standard port for the common charger would be USB-C.

The spectrum can be used for wireless broadband nationwide in mainland Finland from the beginning of 2019, and it is well suited for the construction of the first 5G networks in Finland.

Finland participates in decision-making at the conference and is globally influencing future communication services to ensure competitiveness and international accessibility.
