  3. 21.10.2021 | On 21 October 2021, the Government submitted to Parliament a legislative proposal for amending the Act on Broadband Construction Aid. The most significant amendment is that in the future, aid could only be granted for constructing fixed connections. At the same time, the name of the act would be changed from the current Act on Broadband Construction Aid to Act on Fixed Broadband Construction Aid.

  5. 28.10.2019 | The World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC) takes place in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt as of 28 October. The conference decides on the future use of radio spectrum. The WRC aims at facilitating rational use of radio spectrum and providing a suitable environment for future services. Finland participates in the decision-making to shape future communications services at a global scale.

The amendment will extend the maximum price regulation for the so-called chaining of electronic initial identification data by two years.
