Digitala tjänster stöder sig på de satellittillhandahållna tids- och lokaliseringsuppgifter, med hjälp av vilka banktjänster och elnät fungerar, räddningsväsendet hittar försvunna och långtradarchaufförer lokaliserar timmerhögar. Ett nytt åtgärdsprogram för utveckling av satellitnavigering i Finland har publicerats den 16 november 2021.
