11.3.2021 | Prime Minister Marin's Government is planning three broadband aid schemes. The first one was launched as the Government issued a decree on minimum connection speed and the financial contribution of municipalities. The Act on Broadband Construction Aid entered into force at the turn of the year and the Government issued the decree on 11 March. 10.4.2024 | The Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) is defined in the new Regulation on European Union guidelines for the development of the TEN-T network. The regulation also lays down provisions on the quality requirements for the network corridors and transport nodes. 18.4.2024 | The Government proposes a number of individual amendments to the Act on Electronic Communications Services. 21.12.2022 | A total of EUR 25.13 million was granted to Finland by the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) for a Transport Military Mobility project. 24.1.2024 | Finland has successfully applied for EU funding from the European Commission, which awarded EUR 39.45 million from the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) to seven military mobility projects in Finland.
