  1. 25.9.2025 | The Ministry of Transport and Communications is inviting comments on a draft government proposal for amending the legislation on devices known as jammers intended for interfering with radio communications.   2. 2.7.2026 | On 2 July 2026, the Government submitted to Parliament its proposal for amending the Private Roads Act.   3. 13.11.2025 | The Finnish Government submitted a communication to Parliament on 13 November 2025 regarding the European Commission’s proposal for a Regulation on the Connecting Europe Facility for the period 2028–2034.   5. 13.6.2024 | The President of the Republic approved amendments to the Act on Electronic Communications Services on 13 June 2024. The amendments concern two acts but in practice affect the validity of certain provisions of the Act on Electronic Communications Services. The amendments will enter into force before the validity period of the current provisions expires at the end of June and in the beginning of July 2024.

  7. 20.11.2023 | The World Radiocommunication Conference WRC-23 will start in Dubai on 20 November 2023. The conference decides on the future use of the radio spectrum. The goal is to increase the use of radio frequencies and enable new technologies and services. Finland participates in decision-making at the conference and is globally influencing future communication services to ensure competitiveness and international accessibility.
