  5. 15.11.2021 | The Finnish Ministry of Transport and Communications organised a round table on 15 November 2021 to hear the views of various interest groups on distribution channels for alternative fuels in road transport and on hydrogen as a power source. The demands of the EU regulations currently in preparation for refuelling/recharging infrastructure were also discussed in detail. This infrastructure plays a crucial role in efforts to mainstream low-emission alternative fuels.

  6. 11.3.2021 | The State of Finland and certain other actors are applying for financial support from the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) for four transport projects. Two of these projects are central government projects and two are port projects. The Ministerial Finance Committee endorsed the applications on 11 March 2021.

  7. 16.12.2021 | The Finnish Government and other operators are applying for a total of EUR 185 million in financial support for 22 transport projects from the EU's Connecting Europe Facility (CEF).
